Zürcher Theater Spektakel

The women’s choir of the young Polish singer and director Marta Górnicka treats words like music and transforms language into voice ‒ setting free its subversive power. The voices of 25 Polish women of all ages and different backgrounds rise up and undermine traditional female clichés with irresistible energy and sharpness of intellect. Individually and collectively, they shout, whisper, wail, sing and become free through their speech. (MB)
