Opposites happen in the best of families. A good example is that of the brothers Ampe. Jakob ‒ a jazz singer, voice coach and speech therapist, and Pieter ‒ a dancer and performer, have explored minutely the abilities, the boundaries and, indeed, the world of the other: The singer gets to know his body, the dancer discovers his voice. How far can they go in this playful attempt to reconcile disputes from their past? The result is an acrobatic vocal performance duel between two similar-looking yet rather dissimilar brothers who share a love for anarchic humour. (esc)
