Jani Nuutinen of the Finnish-French Circo Aereo wants to do everything by himself. He alone knows what it takes to make «a more than proper circus» ‒ «un cirque plus juste»! The fiddly magician, juggler and acrobat fully dedicates himself to creating his very personal vision of a circus. Being close to the audience is essential to him. So, his circus tents continue to decrease in size ‒ his current one has a diameter of 10 metres. In this intimate space, Nuutinen indulges in his magical play with objects he has either found or invented, juggles with curtain rails and cannonballs and tells fantastic tales. (kdi)
